A last little gem is the Appalachia mountains of northern Alabama. The leaf changes were breathtaking. This was the end of the RV trip. I met a lot of cool people and saw things that I never knew even existed. Though the life in an RV is not anywhere near the glamour you will see other travelers raving about, what an experience it was!!!!! I feel so fortunate that I was able to do this.
